Evelyn M. Rogers

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday at Odd Fellows’ Cemetery in Stoystown, PA for Evelyn M. Rogers of Williamstown, WV who passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus Wednesday evening. Evelyn was born November 5, 1926 in Somerset, PA a daughter of James and Carrie (Shunk) Mankamyer. Evelyn attended Grace Church of the Nazarene, was a volunteer nurses aid for Western Reserve Hospital for many years and bowled in the Friday Scholarship League at Wedgewood for many years. She is survived by two children Carol Bellville of Jamestown, WV and Allen Rogers of New Waterford, OH; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth Rogers whom she married March 24, 1946 and passed away in 1981, and a brother Manfred Mankamyer. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel from 6-8 PM Saturday evening. Material contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
