Florence M. Stoddard - 81 Newton Falls – Services will be 11 am Thursday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Florence M. Stoddard, 81, of Newton Falls formerly of Struthers who passed away Monday morning in Lori Ann Nursing Home. Mrs. Stoddard was born September 12, 1923 in Youngstown the daughter of Donald W. Sr. and Blanche (Hatcher) Garrett. She was a homemaker and loving mother. Florence was a former member of Struthers United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing bingo and cards. The most important thing to Florence was her family whom she loved very much. She leaves four children, two sons: Donald (Deloris) and Gary Stoddard both of Youngstown, two daughters: Cheryll “Cherie” (Roy) Gibson of North Jackson and Joyce (Harry) Fox of Lake Milton, two sisters: Glennis Waller of Newton Falls and Dorothy (Edison) Rider of Pittsburgh, as well as eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A brother Donald W. Garrett Jr. preceded Florence in death. Family and friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
