Frances M. Vennette

Frances M. Vennette, 91, passed away at Cortland Healthcare on December 10, 2018. Frances was born on December 7, 1927 in Cortland to Fay & Maude (Vaughn) Stryker. Over the years she worked for Sunlight Electric and City Tank and Boiler. However, she was most passionate about her work as a home health aide to the Van Huffel family and a housekeeper to the Covelli family. When she wasnt working, Frances enjoyed being in her garden and tending to her flowers. She is survived by her children Vonda Robinson, Joann (John) Majersky and William Vennette; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren as well as many other family members. She was preceded in death by her son Jerry Vennette, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. A memorial service for Frances will be held on Friday December 14, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, Warren, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to Cortland Healthcare in memory of Frances.
