Francis "Sonny" Misiura

Francis “Sonny” Misiura, 86, of Cortland, Ohio passed away on Sunday March 10^th, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, Ohio, surrounded by his loving family. He was born the son of the late Francis and Anna Misiura in Johnstown, PA on June 27^th, 1937. After graduation, Sonny went on to work at a papermill and eventually ended up retiring from Klaben Ford in 1999 as an auto technician.

Sonny went on to marry the love of his life Doris on November 15^th,1958 and spent 65 years building a family and creating lifelong memories. 

Sonny enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing, but loved traveling with his wife and friends in their R.V and especially his mountain home. 

Sonny leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Doris, his 2 children; Patricia (David) and Lawrence (Tamie); a grandchild, Brittany (Matt); 2 great grandchildren, Giavonni and Kaden; his siblings, Delphine (Greg), Raymond (Patsy), Bernard (Monica) and John (Carolyn). 

Sonny is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ann. 

Per his wishes, there will be no services. Family asks that if anyone wishes to make a donation in Francis’ name, to do so to: St. Jude Childrens Hospital or Boys Town.
