Frank Edward Stroney

Frank Edward Stroney, 75 of Owensville, Missouri died Tuesday morning, March 21, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri. He was born October 3, 1941 in Youngstown, the son of the late Frank J. and Maeouida Miller Stroney. He was raised in North Jackson. Frank was a 1959 graduate of Jackson-Milton High School. After graduating, he moved to St. Louis, MO and began his 50 year career in commercial printing. He worked for many years as a supervisor at the Columbus Dispatch newspaper in Columbus, Ohio and retired in 2009 from R. R. Donnelly Printing in Missouri. Frank attended Owensville, MO Christian Church. He enjoyed classic and antique cars and going to car shows. He last owned a 1956 Chevrolet. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Linda M. Loera Stroney, whom he married February 8, 1991; four children, Cynthia (Keith) Barnett, Frankie Stroney Jr., Joey (Angela) Stroney and Kathy Stroney; five stepchildren, Billy (Vikki) Foust, Sierra (Dave) Gray, Ms. Brendon Smith, Rachael (Richard) Brown and Jon (Erica) Smith; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Collette (Walt) Stevenson of Vienna and Maeouida Kohn of Youngstown and one brother, Albert (Pat) Stroney of North Jackson. The funeral service will be held at noon Monday, March 27, 2017 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where the family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until the noon service time.
