Frankie L Brock

Frankie (Mogg) Brock, 76 Frankie L. Brock, 76 of Austintown passed away unexpectedly May 14th at her home. Frankie was born April 12, 1941 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (Martin) Mogg and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Canfield High School and received her registered nursing degree from Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a case manager for Blue Cross for many years and retired from St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was active in many social groups, including the Wednesday Night Ladies Bowling League, numerous card clubs, the Canfield Lions Club where she had served as treasurer and the Red Hat Society. Frankie leaves her son, Robert Brock of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Arthur "Doc" (Pat) Mogg of Canfield, Gerard (Debbie) Mogg of California and many nieces and nephews for whom she was a second mother. Besides her parents, Frankie was preceded in death by a nephew. There will be no services or calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to the Canfield Lions Club or to the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley.
