Freddy L. Lester

BERLIN CENTER- Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Freddy L. Lester of 12082 Leffingwell Rd. in Berlin Center who died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Freddy was born the son of Bryan and Reba (Lester) Lester on June 24, 1945 in Hanover, West Virginia and moved to the area in 1966. Mr. Lester retired in 1998 after spending 32 ½ years working at General Motors as a final processor, he was a member of the Argus Lodge and the Scottish Rite. Freddy enjoyed photography, woodworking, painting and drawing. Mr. Lester is survived by his loving wife Kitty (Johnston) Lester who he married on July 3, 1964. He is also survived by 2 daughters Rhonda King of Salem and Sharon Bodine of Columbiania along with a sister Linda Denton and 2 brothers Hubert Lester and Daniel Lester all of Lexington, North Carolina. He also leaves 3 grand children Cameron and Erin Bodine and Ashley King. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel on Sunday from 5-8 with a Masonic service to be given at 8 PM.
