WARREN- Frederick E. Molek, age 96, passed away Saturday evening, August 11th at Washington Square Health Care Center. Frederick was born July 14, 1922 in Fallen Timber, Pennsylvania to the late John and Pauline (Wegiel) Molek. Fred retired as a Machinist from American Welding in 1984. He was a proud veteran of the U. S. Army serving with General McArthur in the 1st Calvary, from December 29, 1942 to December 16, 1945. Fred was a longtime member of St. William Catholic Church. Fred will be remembered as a hard worker; he was always willing to lend a hand to whomever was in need. He was a member of the American Legion. Besides his parents, Fred is preceded in death by his wife, the former Alma Davis, who passed September 22, 2004; his siblings, John, Mary, Eugene, Pauline, Adeline, and a grandson Gregory Allen. Fred is survived by his children, Fred (Barb) Molek, Rosalyn (Jeff) Huggins, and Dempsey (Joyce) Allen; five grandchildren, Courtney (Mike) Mahan, Jodi Huggins, Remington (Olivia) Huggins, Colt (Ali) Huggins, and Stephanie (Dave Lang) Allen; five great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Wesson, Lani Grace, Lawson and Alistair. Friends may call 11AM-12PM Friday, August 17th at the Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren, where Rev. Ralph Barney will conduct the funeral service at Noon. Burial with military honors will be at All Souls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Southern Care Hospice.
