Gary Lee Leiter

A celebration of life will take place at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel on Friday October 14th from 4 to 7 PM for Gary Lee Leiter, 69, of Austintown who passed away Monday October 10th at his home. Gary was born August 22, 1947 in Mansfield, Ohio the son of the late George Parry Leiter and Ruth (Cully) Leiter. He was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. Gary retired from General Motors in Lordstown as a Master Tool and Die Maker in 2008. His hobbies included cars, woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. Most of all Gary loved spending time with his children and grandsons. Gary's wife the former Nancy Stanley, whom he married July 30, 1983, passed away in November 25, 2007. He leaves two children, Keith Leiter and his wife Lyn of Findlay, Ohio and Megan Leiter of Hilliard, Ohio, as well as two grandsons, Bo Anthony and Jax Joseph both of Findlay. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Parry and Ruth, and his wife Nancy. Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM Friday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
