There will be a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens Chapel for George A. Vaughn, Sr., 81, who passed away Monday afternoon, Jan. 22nd at Essex of Salem. George was born June 16, 1936 in Youngstown, a son of George and Katherine OMalley Vaughn. He was a foreman with Chrysler Corp. in Twinsburg. After retiring he was employed with Mid-West Telephone Service. George was of the Christian Faith. He enjoyed camping and dancing. George is survived by his wife, Sandy of Streetsboro; his sons, George A. (Mary Jo) Vaughn, Jr. and Shawn A. Vaughn, both of Austintown; his daughters, Tonya M. Vaughn of Austintown, Ronda K. (Jeff) Jerek of Boardman and Tami Buckleu of Ohio; his brothers, William (Velma) Vaughn of Salem and Marty (Debbie) Vaughn of Arkansas and James (Karen) Vaughn of TN; his sister, Darlene Smith of Austintown; 7 grandchildren and 1 gr. grandchild. Besides his parents, George was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Vaughn and his son, Joseph F. Vaughn.
