George E. Hamilton

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for George E. Hamilton Sr. age 94 of Olathe, Kansas formerly of Austintown who died Monday Villa St. Frances Nursing Home in Kansas. George was born Oct. 30, 1908 in Lowellville, OH and was the son of William R. and Jean (Niggel) Hamilton. He retired in 1973 from Republic Steel in Youngstown where he had been superintendent clerk in the Electric Weld Tube. He was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. His wife, Tamson J. (Cutsler) Hamilton whom he married Aug. 31, 1929 died Feb. 2, 1996. George is survived by two sons George E. “Bud” Hamilton of Overland Park, KS, Richard D. Hamilton of Carolina Shores, NC 7 grandchildren and __- great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Hamilton and a sister Jean Lee. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30 to 11 AM Thursday.
