Georgiana "Winkie" Kilbreath, 91 Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 24th at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Georgiana "Winkie" Kilbreath, 91 of Austintown who died Friday evening at Briarfield Manor, Austintown. Georgiana was born August 8, 1927 in Austintown, a daughter of the late George and Anna (Higgins) Wehringer and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Leetonia High School in 1945 and worked as a waitress for various diners in Salem. Georgiana also worked for the former W.T. Grant Department Store in Boardman and in the cafeteria for Fitch High School. She was a member of Greenford Christian Church and most important to Georgiana was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband, Meryle Kilbreath whom she married July 6, 1946, died October 18, 2012. She leaves two daughters, Linda (Randal) Beeson of Oklahoma, Sandra (Joe) Gaskill of Austintown; one son, Michael (Marilyn) Kilbreath of Canfield; seven grandchildren, Michelle Brooks, Eric Beeson, Erin Beeson, Elizabeth Rector, Kara Kuhns, Laura Frost, Emma Kilbreath, and 11 great-grandchildren. Georgiana also leaves her brother, Gene Greier of Leetonia. Besides her parents and her husband, Georgiana was preceded in death by a son and daughter-n-law, Tim (Dianne) Kilbreath, a sister, Esther Jane Beatty and a brother, Gary Greier. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m and 10-10:30 p.m. Thursday at Lane Family Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. The family would like to thank the staff at the Inn at Ironwood, Briarfield Manor and Hospice of the Valley for their special care and concern.
