Gerald Lee Rice, 70 Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Monday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Gerald Lee Rice, 70 of Lake Milton who died unexpectedly Thursday at his residence. Gerald, known as Jerry was born June 18, 1948 in Warren, a son of the late Leonard and Letrecia (Arnett) Rice and was a lifelong area resident. Jerry attended Jackson Milton High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Purple Heart. Jerry built model air planes and had even replicated the plane he flew in Vietnam. He enjoyed playing darts and had belonged to a dart team, loved to fish and enjoyed golfing. He leaves two daughters, Rebecca (Charles) Etto of Youngstown and Donna McMasters of Loudonville; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Mike Rice of Lake Milton, Jimmy Rice of Newton Falls; a sister, Jean Arbeit of Florida. Friends may call on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. followed by the service at 4:00 p.m
