YOUNGSTOWN-There will be Services at 11 a.m. Monday at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel for Geraldine A. Billet, 80, who passed away Friday morning at Briarfield Manor. She was born March 29, 1938 in Youngstown, a daughter of Thomas and Ada Wolford Mounts. Geraldine attended Austintown Fitch High School and was a State Tested Nurse Assistant at Camelot Arms. She was of the Christian Faith. Geraldine loved her black coffee. She enjoyed playing bingo and the daily lottery but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Geraldine is survived by her children, Richard (Denise) Mellott of Columbiana, Linda Mellott Sullivan of Austintown, Paul (Susan) Mellott of Salem and Rhonda (Joe Guerrieri) Mellott of Canfield; her sister, Gladys Darby of Austintown; her grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Nicole, Kelsey, Crystal and Steven; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Alex, Aiden, Anthony, Dominic and Julius and her longtime companion, Theodore Bistarkey. Geraldine was preceded in death by her sisters, Ethel Ellsmore and Marie Stokes. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Monday prior to the Service at the funeral home. Rhonda would like to thank the staff at both Briarfield Manor and St. Elizabeth Health Care Center and also convey her gratitude to Hospice of the Valley for the exceptional care and compassion shown to both her mother and herself.
