Geraldine C. Johnson

Funeral services will be held 11 Am Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Geraldine C. Johnson, age 73 of 2419 S. Bellwood Ave., Niles who died early Monday morning in the emergency room at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Geraldine was born March 27, 1929 in Mineral Ridge and was the daughter of Henry and Mable (Jones) McCormick. She had retired in 1984 from Packard Electric after 25 years where she had been a mold operator. Geraldine was a member of the Mineral Ridge Church of Christ, avid bingo player, loved car racing and car cruising and liked to travel. She is survived by her husband Norman Johnson whom she married May 8, 1948, a daughter Bonnie Burk of Mineral Ridge, two sons Robert Johnson of Mineral Ridge, William Johnson of Hubbard, three sisters, Juanita Pregidon and Anna Zeaken both of Niles, Jewel Lundguest of West Middlesex, Pa., one brother Henry McCormick of Niles, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Eddie, Donnie and Mickey McCormick. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Wed. at the funeral home.
