Gertrude Anna Sharrow

AUSTINTOWN-Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday At the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Gertrude Anna Sharrow of 901 N. Highland in Girard who died Thursday morning. Gertrude was born April 27, 1905 the daughter of Milton and Clara (Young) Lucas in Ayeman, Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Earl M. Sharrow who she married in June 29, 1927. Gertrude retired in 1967 after spending 21 years as an assembler for Packard Electric in the Warren Plant and was active as a member of Churchill United Methodist Church. Mrs. Sharrow leaves a sister Betty Bevins of Austintown along with 2 grandsons Robert and James Sharrow both of Liberty Township, and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Earl L. Sharrow and four brothers Harold, Clarence, Harry and Kenneth Lucas. Her six sisters Elsie Lucas, Edna Aubrey, Florence Salmon, Freda Jenkins and Nellie Delaquadri and Pearl Wilson. A grandson Kenneth Sharrow also preceded her in death. Friends may call Sunday from 5-8 PM at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
