Funeral services will be held 7 PM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Gertrude Sferra of Youngstown who passed away at Camelot Arms Nursing Home early Wednesday morning. Gertrude was born April 28, 1928 in Youngstown a daughter of Steve and Anna (Flask) Sferra. She was a former member of St. Columba Catholic Church, a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School where she studied aeronautics. She loved bingo and her grandchildren. Gertrude is survived by her former husband Eugene Guy; four children George Guy of Youngtown, Jane Kelley of Lake Milton, Sandra (Charles) Armes with whom she made her home, Diane Guy of Youngstown; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son Robert Guy and one sister Esther Pitoscia. Friends may call from 6-7 PM Friday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
