Glenn L. May, 85, of Austintown, passed away on May 2, 2019, surrounded by his family at the Hospice House in Poland. Glenn was born November 17, 1933 in Austintown, the son of the late Howard and Jessie (Hendershot) May. Glenn was a lifelong resident of Austintown. Prior to retirement he worked as a master machinist at P.I.C. in Canfield and also as an Austintown School Bus Driver for more than fifteen years. Glenn loved to tinker with cars and was a member of Old Auto Enthusiast. He looked forward to displaying his 1948 Ford Tractor every year at the Canfield Fair. Glenn is survived by his wife of 67 years, Doris (Adams) May, whom he married August 13, 1953; his five children Diane (Michael) Zitkovic of Austintown, Kevin May of Austintown, Kathleen (Larry) Fink of Michigan, Kenneth Glenn (Penny) May of Salem, and Keith "Charlie" (Suzanne) May of Austintown; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great great- grandson; and his beloved dog Angel. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Dorothy Lee May, his brother Dale May, and his sister Marjorie Sampson. The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, May 7th at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel from 5:00- 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
