Gordon L. Delauder of Austintown, passed away at 1:15 PM Saturday at his residence. He was 73. Mr. Delauder was born in Belington, WV on March 30, 1935, a son of Lloyd and Rachel Cross Delauder. He worked as a press operator for American Paper Products. Gordon was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary and The Saxon Club where he played bocce. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking, but most of all he loved his family. His wife, Jennie M. Barone Delauder, whom he married Aug. 23, 1958, passed away March 28, 1992. Survivors include: a son, Gordon D. and his girlfriend Vonda of Champion; a daughter, Carla and her husband David Ramunno of Vancouver, WA; Gordon's fiance, Anna Fear of Austintown; one grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by: his parents; a son, Lloyd Ralph Delauder; 2 brothers, Everett and Dorsey Delauder; 3 sisters, Marietta Cole, Virginia Kukwa, and Genve Hill. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Calling hours will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home- Austintown Chapel. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their gratitude for two special nurses: Lisa Stas RN and Mary Jo Connelly RN and the medical care provided by Dr. Lawrence Goldstein and Dr. Masud Bhatti, and their office staff. Memorial Contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley.
