Harold Austin Boyer

Services will be 1 PM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel for Harold Austin Boyer 73, of Liberty Twp., who passed away Saturday afternoon in Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Harold was born November 2, 1932 in Kittanning, Pa. the son of Henry and Emma Jean (George) Boyer and came to the Youngstown area in 1954. He retired from the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company in 1983 as a crane operator after 29 years of service. Harold served in the U.S. Army. Harold leaves his wife the former Ruby Poling whom he married September 4, 1981; sixteen children: Joyce (Boyer) Daniel of Martinsburg, W.VA., Louis Austin Boyer of Youngstown, Rita Mae Boyer Peachock of Struthers, Velma Jean Seabolt of Parkersburgh, W.VA., Rebecca Mounts of Liberty, Gloria Lynn Boyer of Austintown, Harold Wayne Boyer of Bangs, TX., Robert Michael Osborne of Laurel, MD., Mary Jefferies of Hanover, MD., Margaret Spitler, Charles and Raymond Williams all of Youngstown, Theresa Osborne, John and George Williams all of Niles and Robert Dale Williams of Cincinnati . Harold also leaves three sisters: Deloris Chalfant of Loweville, Wilma Ferguson of Youngstown, and Faye Velez of Canton, as well as 42 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday and again from noon to 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
