North Jackson- Services celebrating the life of Harry Price will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Harry died peacefully Saturday morning at the Hospice House. He was born June 11, 1941 in Austintown, the son of William and Seldia Greier Price and was a lifelong area resident. Harry was a member of the Ellsworth Community Church where he had served in many capacities and also a member of the North Jackson Nazarene Church. Harry graduated from Austintown Fitch High School, he was a member of the Knights of Pithias in North Jackson, Ohio Bluebird Society, National Blue Bird Society, and a former member of the Mahoning County Coon Hunters Association. Harry loved to build blue bird houses, he built over 1400 of them. Harry retired in 1999 from Packard Electric where he was a factory worker and drove tow motor for 35 years. Harry was an avid gardener always giving to others from his garden and was also an avid hunter and loved to run his beagles. He will be sadly missed by his daughters Tracey (Brian) Colvin of Youngstown, Nicole (Rob) Smith of Diamond. He also leaves his siblings; Frank (Shirley) Megown and Melvin (Donna) Megown both of Austintown. Harry was preceded in death by his loving wife Elsie (Clark) whom he married August 23, 1963 and who died April 2, 2004, daughters Tina and Tonya, sisters Viola Watson, Miriam Nations and brothers Chester, Lester and Leroy Clingerman Harry was a very giving person all of his life with that in mind the family requests that in lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of the Valley or your favorite charity in Harry's name. Family and friends may call from 4-7 pm Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral
