Harvey Benjamin "Benny" Robison

Harvey Benjamin "Benny" Robison, 71 of Niles, died Wednesday morning, January 10, 2018, at his home. He was born January 26, 1946 in Warren, the son of the late Harvey Benjamin and Eilizabeth Jane Goodhart Robison. Benny retired in 2001 when Copperweld/CSC Steel closed, working as a steel rougher for 33 years. He then worked for PMS Corp. in McDonald for 9 years, Benny is survived by his wife of 28 years, Penny O. Popp Robison, whom he married September 2, 1989; seven children, Drew C. Robison of Niles, Harvey B. Robison III of Trumbull county, Robert W. Robison and Brient J. Robison both of Conway, SC, Jennifer L. Burke of Howland, Jamilyn O. Pounds of Niles and Jonathan C. Juvancic of Willoughby; fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren; five sisters, Barbara Bissell of Niles, Ida Glass, Carol Moyer and Linda Moeing all of Girard and Charlene Klingensmith of Howland and one brother, Allen Robison of Austintown. Two sisters preceded him in death. Per Benny's wishes there will be no calling hours or services. Cremation was held. Burial will be at a later date at Girard Liberty Union Cemetery. Local arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Niles Chapel.
