Helen V. Picklesimer

NEW WATERFORD---Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Mrs. Helen V. Picklesimer, 77 formerly of Church St. in New Waterford. Mrs. Picklesimer was born November 5, 1924 in Van Lear, KY, the daughter of Estill and Bertha S. (Spears) Salyer coming to this area after being married in Paintsville, KY. She had been a homemaker most of her life. Her husband, Hershel Picklesimer, whom she married February 15, 1941 died February 17, 1986. She is survived by a daughter, Jerry Ann Wise of Elwood City, PA and a son, Kenneth R. Picklesimer Sr. of New Waterford, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild. Friends may call from Noon until time of service at the funeral home. The family requests that material contributions take the form of donations to the American Heart Assoc.
