Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the Boardman Seventh Day Adventist Church at 7668 Glenwood Ave. for Henry G. “Hank” Jacobson of Canfield who passed away at Forum Northside Hospital on Sunday evening. Henry was born September 29, 1920 in Beaverdale, PA the son of Frank and Edith (Lupkey) Jacobson. Hank was a Crane Operator at Wean Industries and was a WWII Army Veteran serving in the European Theatre. He was a member of the Great Chatterbox, A.A.R.P. and his church. Besides his wife, Edna (Johnson) Jacobson, whom he married September 7, 1942, he leaves three children: Erin Jacobson of Canfield, Betty J. Ripple and her husband Michael of Poland, and Brian Jacobson of Wisconsin. Hank also leaves four sisters and two brothers: Francis Koppel of Youngstown, Rose Scali of Youngstown, Ruth Guerriari of Harrisburg, PA, Harriet Rowe of Hubbard, La’Rayne Jacobson of Youngstown, and Arthur Jacobson of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Harold. Friends and family may call from 5-8 PM Today at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel as well as one hour prior to the services at the Church on Wednesday.
