Howard A. Rogers

YOUNGSTOWN: Howard A. Rogers, 78, passed away at Guardian Health Care Center on November 7, 2018. Howard was born in Meadville, PA, on February 7, 1940. He was a lifelong resident of the area. After proudly serving his country in Army, Howard spent his career as a trucker driver. He was a member of the VFW Post 3307. Howard loved playing chess and he had a soft spot for his favorite dogs Howie, Lady and Sally Ann. Howard is survived by his significant other, Sharon Cloud, his children John Dinger, Michael Rogers and Jody Rogers, his grandchildren Ashley, Richard, Kathryn and Michael Jr.; his great-grandchildren: Isabella Ali-Jenkins, Nathan James Ali-Jenkins, and Daniel Elijah Jenkins, and his sisters Dorothy, Josephine and Ruth as well as many other relatives. Preceded in death by his son Ronald Dinger. A memorial service for Howard will be held on Friday November 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Homes, Austintown.
