Howard "Lenny" Clark, 71, passed away quietly at home Wednesday morning. Howard was born November 22, 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Millard and Hazel (Barnhart) Clark. Howard served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to retiring in 2005, Howard was a Brakeman for Norfolk Southern. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting and he was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He loved to watch the Cavs, Indians, and the Browns. He leaves his wife, Linda (Bailey) Clark, whom he married February 14, 1987, his children, Joseph (Susan) Gushura of Girard, Michael (Amanda) Gushura of Poland, and Jessica (Jamie) Carpenter of Boardman, his sisters, Janet Merani and Sally Novak, his brothers, John (Helen) Clark, Mark (Jackie) Clark and Joe Clark, his in laws, Cindy (Ken) Bonacher and Missy (Larry) Russo, his ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his son James Clark and his siblings, Merriam Miller, Winnie Hammond, Alan Clark, Harriet Terrago, Karen Williams, Jimmy Clark, Helen Snyder, Edward Clark and Millard Clark. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Tabernacle Evanglical Presbtyerian Church in Austintown. Howard will be laid to rest with his son James at Brunstetter Cemetery.
