Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24th at The Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Hubert L. Cook who passed away Monday evening at Serenity House Nursing Home in Canfield. Mr. Cook was born May 16, 1916 in Salem the son of Emmor J. and Vada (Cooke) Cook. Hubert was a Farmer and retired from Deming Crane in 1981 after 37 years of service. He was also a member of the Greenford Christian Church. Mr. Cook leaves three children: Virginia Myers of Canfield, Betty Wiant of Austintown, and Robert L. Cook of Greenford. He also leaves a sister Carol McDonald of Salem and a brother Kenneth Cook of Greenford as well as 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his first wife Esther V. (Clay) whom he married in 1941 and passed away in 1984. His second wife Marie (Bassinger) whom he married in 1990 passed away in 2000. He was also preceded in death by his twin brother Herbert, a brother Paul, and a brother Dale as well as 2 sisters, Mary Hemming and Ethel Cook.
