Inez M Anderson

Inez "Inie" M. Anderson, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2017 at the young age of 99. She was born on July 26, 1918 in Pennsylvania to parents Walter and Enid Nelson. Growing up she worked at her father's local grocery store where she helped out with the daily duties but she always kept her free time open for fun and excitement. She enjoyed traveling and being a part of new experiences. Known as "Inie" by many, she rode on motorcycles, loved Las Vegas where her luck never ran out, and was a champion at bingo. She married the late John Anderson and they moved to Warren, Ohio to raise their beloved son, William Anderson. Inez worked for Warren City Schools as a teacher's aide and enjoyed working with young children. She is preceded in death by her parents; her kind and caring husband John Anderson and her brother James Nelson. She is survived by her son William Anderson who stood by his mother to the very end; grandchildren John and Rachael Anderson who will deeply miss their Nana and will cherish all the beautiful memories we had with her, and sister Dorothy (Karl) Hagman of Mt. Jewett, Pennsylvania and many other beloved family members and friends. Inez was a go-getter even in her later years and she had an energy about herself that drew people in. Nana, we love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. Private services will be held in Inez's home town in Pennsylvania.
