Ismael Colon Cruz

Ismael Colon Cruz, 82, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. He was born November 29, 1937 in Coamo, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Eduardo Colon Y Rivera and Dominga Cruz De Colon. Ismael came to Ohio at a young age. He worked for Lake County Nursery as a nursery worker until his retirement. Ismael enjoyed fishing and spending time with family .He leaves his wife of 50 years, the former Penny DeVan, a daughter Tina (Phil) Placko of Struthers, a son Robert DeVan of West Virginia several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Following Ismael’s wishes there are no calling hours or services. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
