Iva P. Bilkie

SALEM---Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Mrs. Iva P. Bilkie, 83 of 5498 W. Garfield Rd. died Monday at her residence. Iva was born August 31, 1918 in Confluence PA. The daughter of Samuel J. and Elizabeth P. (Miller) Meyers and came to this area as a young woman. She had been employed as a clerk for J. C. Penney 20 years retiring in 1978. She was a member of St. Nicholas Church and its Senior Citizens group and the Struthers Chapter of the AARP. Her husband, Albert J. Bilkie whom she married November 5, 1976 died September 30, 1996. She is survived by her daughter, Beatrice J. Hromyak, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren A son, Richard Schimph, 2 sisters, Rosetta B. Welton and Edna Welton, a brother James Meyers one grandchild and one great-grandchild preceded her in death. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Wednesday and one hour before services Thursday at the funeral home
