Jack A. Gwinn

North Bloomfield - Jack A. Gwinn, 65, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters, Wednesday morning, August 22, 2018. Jack was born on February 21, 1953 in Chardon, OH, a son of the late William "Bill" and Irene (Finlaw) Gwinn. In Jacks younger years, he enjoyed raccoon hunting and riding snowmobiles. He loved spending time in his garage working on his street rods, listening to old country music and visiting with the many friends and family that stopped in from time to time. He was a partner in Gwinn Brothers Construction and enjoyed driving truck and doing masonry work. He was a friend to everyone he met and his family was his greatest joy in life. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Donna Gwinn of 48 years, whom he married on July 25, 1970; his daughters, Misty (Jim Hughes) Mahan, Tiffany (Brannon) Murphy, and Christy "Babe" (Justin) Roper; grandchildren, Brooke, Wyatt, Bodhi, and Reagan Mahan, Dellanie and Paisley Murphy, and Arlington, Huxton, and Kipton Roper; brothers, Daniel (Linda), Roger (Marilyn) and Sid Gwinn; sisters Darlene (Russ) Molinatto and Velda Gwinn; former son-in-law Pat Mahan; and mother-in-law Reva Blake. He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law Brooks Blake and by nephews Shannon Gwinn and Tommy Molinatto; brother-in-laws, Willard and Eddie Blake; sister-in-laws, Brenda Dama and Barb Blake and many aunts and uncles. Friends and family may visit from 4:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts - Clark Chapel at 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the funeral home and will be officiated by Garry "Pete" Hennessy.
