Jack S. Maravola

Memorial services celebrating the life of Jack Maravola will be held at 2pm Saturday January 19th at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Jack passed away Friday evening after a courageous battle with cancer. Jack was born October 4, 1949 in Warren the son of Andrew and Viola (Stowe) Maravola. He graduated from East High School in 1968 and continued his education at the Mahoning County Joint Vocational School. He retired in 2013 as a custodian for Boardman Schools. Jack loved to camp, fish and was an exceptional woodworker. He was a ventriloquist and a Eagle Scout, but his greatest achievement was being devoted to his family. Jack and his wife Mary had fostered over 100 children. He will be sadly missed by his children; Maryrose Maravola of Kent, David (Jennie) Maravola of Solon and Justin Ray Maravola of Struthers. He also leaves his siblings; Carmel (Dennis) Siciliano of Girard, Larry (Kathy) Maravola of Boardman, Louise (Chester) Conrad of Cleveland, GA. and Penny (Paul) Lisko of Wakefield, VA. Jack was preceded in death by his wife Mary (Grim) in 2014 and his parents. Family and friends may call from 1pm until time of services Saturday January 19th at the funeral home.
