James C. Doyle

James C. Doyle, of Vienna, Ohio, died Sunday (10-19-2008) at home after an unexpected heart attack. He was 60. Mr. Doyle was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 1, 1948, a son of James E. and Margaret (Jones) Doyle. A 1966 graduate from Maplewood High School, Jim went on to serve our country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from Ohio Edison, Warren, Ohio in 2008 after 40 plus years as a Lineman. Jim was a member of the VFW Post #1090 Men's Auxiliary, Warren. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and cheering on NASCAR #24 Jeff Gordon. Survivors include: his wife, Janice Lynn (Mori) Doyle, whom he married October 17, 1981; his children, Craig Doyle, Austintown, Ohio, Alicia Layton & her husband Jeff, Austintown, Ohio, Noah Doyle, Vienna, Ohio, and Sarah Doyle, Warren, Ohio; his sisters, Pat Lupyon & her husband Dave, and Nancy Peterson & her husband Brian; and his four grandchildren, Elena, Jackson, Paige & Aiden. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday (10-24-2008) at the Lane Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel, Brookfield, Ohio. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-7 PM. Burial will be private. As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
