James Edward Collier WARREN- James E. "Jim" Collier, age 63, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. Jim was born December 12, 1954 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Melvin and Lois (Weatherly) Collier. Jim was a 1974 graduate of Labrae High School. He retired from Indalex Aluminum as a forklift operator after many years of employment. He was an avid Bowler and Golfer, he enjoyed playing Mario Kart and cornhole too. Jim had a great sense of humor, he was always trying to make people laugh. He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns, Indians, and The Ohio State University Buckeyes! Besides his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his siblings Jane Markel, David Collier, and Kathleen Whitacre, he is also preceded by brother-in-law Paul Lutz. Jim is survived by his wife, the former Robin Gilmore, who he married September 29, 1984, his daughters, Stephanie Collier, Heather Collier, and Gabrielle Collier; his sister Carol Lutz, and brothers Kenneth (Linda) Collier, and Charles (Winsome) Collier, sister-in-law Jackie Collier, brother-in-law John Markel, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his cat Mufasa. Friends may call 6-8PM Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the Lane Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren. Friends may also call 10-11AM Friday at the Braceville Christian Church, 4387 Church St. SW in Braceville, where Pastor Jon Pratt will begin the funeral service at 11AM. Interment Braceville Cemetery.
