James Timothy Vinion

James Timothy “Tim” Vinion, 65, passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of March 26, 2024 at his residence. He was born the son of the late James F. Vinion and Sandra R. (Jackson) Vinion of Youngstown, Ohio on September 20^th, 1958. He was a graduate of Leonard Kirtz School in Austintown, Ohio and was a longtime resident with Gateways to a Better Living. 

Tim spent his time working at the local workshops, enjoyed being around his family every chance he had and was known to be quite the food enthusiast, according to his siblings. 

Tim leaves behind to carry on his memory, his siblings, Jody (Ken) Lewis, Mark (Schannynn) Vinion, Kelly Vinion, as well as his extended siblings, Rita Soos and Danny Gayak; an aunt, Janice Behnke, as well as several cousins; nieces and nephews, Matthew Lewis, Dylan (Katrina) Vinion, Chastity (Shawn) Kish, Kayla (Ryan) Ruth, as well as many extended nieces and nephews. 

Tim is preceded in death by his parents. 

The family of Timmy would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Gateways for the amazing care and compassion they showed while caring for Tim during his time at their facility.
