James W. "Bimbo" Macgregor

Mineral Ridge-Funeral services will be held 1PM Sat. at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for James W. “Bimbo” MacGregor who died Tuesday afternoon in St. Joseph Health Care in Warren. Jim was born Jan 21, 1952 in Warren, OH and was the son of Milton M. and Betty (Harshman) MacGregor. He had been employed as a drywall hanger for Ohio Carpenters Local. He was a 1970 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School where he had played football. He had also been in the Boy Scouts at the Mineral Ridge United Methodist Church and loved gardening. Jim leaves his mother of Mineral Ridge, three sons, James Weatherby of Warren, James W. MacGregor, Jr. and David Schmit both of McDonald, two sisters, Linda Berencsi and Sandy MacGregor both of Mineral Ridge, two brothers, Bruce MacGregor of Mineral Ridge, Rob Roy MacGregor at home and one granddaughter Destiny. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Gary MacGregor. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
