Janet Elaine Freisen, 77 There will be a Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Christine Parish,3165 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown for Janet Elaine Freisen, 77 of Mineral Ridge who died Wednesday afternoon at Continuing Healthcare Solutions at the Ridge. Janet was born December 10, 1941 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Michael and Nellie (Blackburn) Terlecky and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Ursuline High School in 1959 and received her Bachelor Degree from Youngstown State University. Janet work as a Medical Technologist for St. Elizabeth Medical Center for many years. She was a member of St. Christine Parish and a former member of the Family Life Committee of the church. Janet enjoyed bingo, arts and crafts, especially painting and had won many ribbons for her paintings. She was an avid seamstress, making clothing and costumes for her daughters and sister. Janet also enjoyed traveling and the many road trips taken with her family. She was kind-hearted and always thinking of others. She loved to make people smile and was known for her sense of humor and telling jokes and will be dearly missed. Her husband,Frederick P. Freisen, whom she married October 7, 1972, died June of 2009. Janet leaves her two daughters, Amy (Brian) Aurandt of Austintown, Holly (Greg) Potters of Natick, MA; four grandchildren, Victoria, Katherine, Andrew and Daniel and her sister, Joan Krispli of Youngstown. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown chapel.
