Jeanne Abram, 94 Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, 65 N. Broad St., Canfield Chapel for Jeanne Abram, 94 of Berlin Center who died early Saturday morning at Shepherd of the Valley, Boardman. Jeanne was born November 13, 1923 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Fred and Eva (Smith) Patton. She graduated from Cuyahoga Heights High School and had worked as a secretary for Lee Eaton Primary School in Northfield, Ohio for 15 years. Jeanne also raised horses and moved to this area 30 years when she purchased the farm to raise show horses. She was a former member of Northfield Village Community Church where she served as secretary to the pastor. She loved to knit and crochet and was very proud of her blue ribbons she had won for her sweaters. Her husband, Roy Abram whom she married in 1947, died in 2002. She leaves her son, Frank Abram of Henderson, Nevada and her daughter, Joyce Shirley of Berlin Center; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews including a special niece, Carolyn (Bob) Bissell. Besides her parents and her husband, Jeanne was preceded in death by a brother, Frank; a sister Doris and a sister Joyce who died in infancy. Jeanne was also preceded in death by a close friend whom made his home with the Abrams, Doug Fromwiller. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. at Lane Funeral Home.
