Jennie Kovacs

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Jennie J. Kovacs, age 81 of 4895 New Rd. who passed away Thursday Feb. 21 at St, Elizabeth Medical Center from renal failure. Jennie was born Feb 19 1921 a daughter of Walter and Anna (Kurek) Bodzenta. Her husband James Kovacs whom she married Feb 17, 1949 passed away October 19, 1995. She worked for Richman Brothers in Cleveland and prior to that was a timekeeper for Lordstown Depot and had worked at Demon tires in Warren Twp. . She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Austintown and a 1939 graduate of Paris Township High School in Paris, Ohio. She loved politics and loved to listen to radio and TV about world affairs. She was a devoted wife and loving mother of James Lee Kovacs of Austintown. She also is survived by a sister Irene Dillon of Newton Falls: and two brothers Stanley Bodzenta of Warren and John Bodzenta of Howland. She is preceded in death by four sister: Helen Prosky, Millie Miskovich, Stella Dillon, and Mary Hryckowian. Friends may call from 9:00 from 10:00 Monday morning at Lane Funeral Home Austintown.
