Jennifer May Stanhope

Jennifer M. Stanhope, 37, passed away at St. Joseph Warren Hospital on November 24, 2018 after a brief illness. Jennifer was born in Warren on November 27, 1980 to Timothy Bedlion and Debbie Nichols Bowser. On September 20, 2003, Jennifer was united in marriage to John Stanhope who survives. Jennifer was the owner of Funshine Learning Center. She was a natural caregiver, and was driven to teach young children their beginning foundation in their education. However, Jennifers true passion and greatest achievement was her family. She was a devoted wife and daughter and perhaps most importantly a loving mother. Jennifer is survived by her husband John; her daughter Madison Stanhope; her mother Debbie Bowser; her father Timothy Bedlion; her maternal grandmother Geraldine (Mike) Village and father-in-law Phil Stanhope as well as many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her stepfather Dale Bowser, mother-in-law Donna Stanhope and dear friend John Moran. A memorial gathering in celebration of Jennifers life will be held on Friday November 30, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel, Cortland.
