Jessie L. Chinchar

Jessie L. Chinchar, 91 of Mecca formerly of Wickliffe passed away at her daughter-in-laws home in Eastlake on August 25, 2018. Jessie was born in Short Creek, West Virginia on December 1, 1926 one of seven children of Marion & Wilma (Johnson) Mozingo. On October 1, 1949 Jessie was united in marriage to Ernest Chinchar who preceded her in death on September 14, 2010. Visitation for Jessie will be held on Friday August 31, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel, Cortland where a funeral service will be held on Saturday September 1, 2018 at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. Jessie is survived by her son Andrew E. Chinchar, her daughter-in-law Amy Chinchar, her grandchildren: Lisa Genzen, Michael Chinchar, Jennifer Chinchar and Timothy (Allison) Chinchar; 6 great-grandchildren: Hannah, Katelynn, Derek, Kyle, Gabriel, Brayden, and many other relatives. Besides her husband, Jessie was preceded in death by her sons James & Bruce Chinchar, her parents, her sisters Helen Smith, Gladys Welser and Hattie Dennis and her brothers Carl & June Chinchar.
