Jill R. Wilkinson, 56 of Tarentum, Pa. died Sunday evening, February 3, 2019 at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Farrell, Pa. following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 5, 1962 in Warren, a daughter of the late Earl E. and Norma L. Nydegger Wilkinson. She was raised in Howland Township. Jill was a 1980 graduate of Howland High School. She received an associate degree and then a bachelors degree in 1984 from Youngstown State University. She received her paralegal certification in Pennsylvania. Jill was presently working as a paralegal at Goldberg, Perskey and White law firm in Pittsburgh, where she had worked for 30 years. Jill was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Cleveland Browns and Indians. She was a devoted Parrothead and enjoyed golfing, bowling and traveling. She loved animals and supported animal rescue groups. Jill is survived by one sister, Judith A. (Don) Fatobene of Cortland; two brothers, R. Patrick (Leslie) Wilkinson of Cortland and Rick F. (Kelly) Wilkinson of Terre Haute, Ind.; seven nieces and nephews, Donnie (Trish) Fatobene, Annette (Bill) Jones, Andrew (Whitney) Wilkinson, Curt, Stephen and Jessica Wilkinson, and Kacey (Billy) Blundell; 11 great nieces and nephews; a large supportive group of Pittsburgh friends, including Leslie Stevens and Donna Devlin and her four (rescue) Huskies. One brother, Thomas Wilkinson preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren with Pastor Joel Theis officiating.
