Jo Ann Frederick James Bagnola, 67 Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Bailey Road Baptist Church, 2121 Bailey Rd., North Jackson for Jo Ann Bagnola, 67 of North Jackson who went home to be with the Lord Wednesday morning at her residence. Jo Ann was born October 6, 1950 in Millersburg, Ohio, a daughter of the late Albert S. and Connie (Stillo) Frederick. She graduated from Howland High School in 1969 where she was a majorette and very proud of the fact that she had perfect attendance for her 12 years of school. Jo Ann attended Youngstown State University. Along with her husband, Ronald, owned and operated Mobile Consultants, Inc. for over 25 years. She served as secretary of the business and head of payroll. She was an active member of Bailey Road Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School , volunteered in the nursery and was a member and leader with AWANA. Jo Ann was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and was a season ticket holder for 26 years. She enjoyed traveling; wintering in her home in Marathon, Florida, and to her homes in Myrtle Beach and Cook Forest, but especially traveling on her mission trips to Thailand and China. She and her husband, John owned a plane and Jo Ann enjoyed destination lunches and dinners and flying to Ohio State football games. Her first husband, Ronald A. James, Jr. whom she married February 6, 1971, died January 23, 2006. She leaves her second husband, John Bagnola, whom she married April 20, 2013; three sons, Ronnie A. James, III of Cuyahoga Falls, Steve A. James of Mineral Ridge and Ryan S. (Ashley) James of Broadview Heights; eight grandchildren, Julia, Seth, Hannah, Zachary, Fallon, Riley, Hadley, Savannah and a step-son, Aaron (Ashley) Bagnola of Falls Church, Virginia. Jo Ann also leaves two brothers, Allen (Renee) Frederick of Logan, Ohio, Albert (Jane) Frederick of Huron, Ohio; two sisters, Di Ann Frederick of Niles, Becky (David) Brothers of Niles and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her step-father, Edward Ryan; a nephew, Keith Frederick and a niece, Sara Frederick. Jo Ann was selfless to the end, always putting her family and friends first, especially her kids and grandkids. She was and will be loved for her unwavering kindness and generosity. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bailey Road Baptist Church and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m. at the church. The family would like to thank St. Elizabeth Medical Center/Mercy Health Oncology Department and Hospice of the Valley for the wonderful care given to Jo Ann. The family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Boardman 44512. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
