Joanne E. Beard

Vienna - Joanne E. Beard, 84, passed away Saturday December 15, 2018 at her home in Vienna. Joanne was born on August 11, 1934 in Massillon, OH, a daughter of the late Ora and Muriel Mae (Cook) Noftsinger. She was a 1952 graduate of Warren G. Harding. Two years after high school she married the love of her life John Beard on April 23, 1954 and became a proud home maker for her family. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Warren and sang in the church choir. She enjoyed traveling; shopping at garage sales, baking, cooking, was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family. She was part of a long time friendship card club. Joanne will be deeply missed by her loving husband, John Beard of 64 years; her children, John T. (Joanne) Beard, Lynette Wilden, and James R. (Shelly) Beard; grandchildren, Jonathan Beard, Jacy (Jeff) Bentley, Matthew (Arianne) Wilden, and John Wilden; great-grandchildren, Logan Mills, Isaac Wilden, Jude Wilden, Jack Wilden, and Alex Wilden; and her brother Paul (Rebecca) Noftsinger. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son Paul Beard.
