John G Fulmer

WARREN- John G. Fulmer, 70, passed away at home on Thursday, March 31, 2016. He was born on June 10, 1945 in Youngstown, OH, son to Gerald and RoseMary (Pondillo) Fulmer. John served his country in the United States Air Force and went on to work for General Motors. He retired after 33 years in 1999. John was a prominent member of the Warren Ski Club. He was also an avid fisherman on Lake Erie and a member of the Sea Ranger Yacht Club. John enjoyed flying model airplanes with his club, the RC Nighthawks, and recently, John started playing with model cars with his grandchildren. Left to carry on John's memory is his loving wife of 29 years, Elizabeth (Butterfield) Fulmer; his mother, RoseMary Fulmer; his children, Michael (Gill) Fulmer, Jerry (Laura) Fulmer, and Sherry (Adam) Froelich; his step-daughter, Stephanie Schermer; his grandchildren, Quinn Fulmer, and Nolan, Brooke, and Roman Froelich; his brother, Larry (Chris) Fulmer; and his daughter-in-law, Zara Fulmer. John is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Fulmer, and his sons, John and Robert Fulmer. Family will receive friends on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 5-7PM at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave. Cremation will follow.
