It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Hudak Jr, 94. He peacefully departed this life on February 25, 2025.
John was born August 31, 1930 in Warren, Ohio, the son of the late John and Anna (Danko) Hudak. He was a lifetime Trumbull County resident.
John worked for Copperweld Steel as a Craneman for 43 years, retiring in 1993. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting with his brothers, swimming, and the horse track. He always enjoyed family gatherings. John will be remembered for his dedication to his family and friends.
John will be missed by his son John G. Hudak and Terri Potter; his daughter Sandra Palette and her husband Les Palette; his grandson Stephen Durig and his wife Emily Durig; his step grandson Jason Palette and his wife Beth Palette. He has one surviving brother Charles Hudak. He also leaves four great-grandchildren and will be remembered by many loving nieces and nephews.
Sadly, we remember those who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, he lost his wife, Lucy Cesta Hudak, whom he married May 31, 1954; his sister Annabell Miller and brothers George, Mike, and Joe Hudak as well as his step-grandson Shaun Palette.
Family and friends may call on Monday, March 3 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m.
John will be laid to rest next to his wife in All Souls Cemetery, Cortland, Ohio.
