John Joseph Polcha

John Joseph Polcha, 75, passed away Friday, April 4 2014. He was born February 28, 1939 in Farrell, PA to the late John and Mary Polcha. John was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandpa, and friend to many. He enjoyed playing the lottery, going for coffee, and telling jokes. John also had a passion for helping people and would often collect pop tabs for children with medical conditions. He also was in the U.S. Army Reserves for many years. John lost his devoted and beloved wife of 36 years, Betty Mucha Polcha in 2003, but now they are reunited eternally together. Left to mourn John's passing are his 4 children, Jennifer, Justin, Chris, and Lauren Polcha; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters; his uncle, Adam Polcha; his sister-in-law, Dorothy Mucha Hughes; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 16 from 5PM to 6:30PM at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, where a memorial service will follow at 6:30PM. Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
