Marysville- John Keith Lehto, age 77, passed away October 8, 2017 at the Kobacker House in Columbus. Keith was born June 29, 1940 in Warren to the late Bernhardt E. and Mae Louise (Hebebrand) Lehto. He was a 1959 Graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, a 1963 graduate of GMI (General Motors Institute), and a 1967 graduate of Kent State University with a MBA. Keith worked for various computer software companies as the director of marketing in Chicago, Oklahoma City, and Boston; he was the President of Sector Systems, Inc., for many years in Boston before retiring in 1999, when he returned to Northeast Ohio, settling in Cortland, then Fowler, then moving to Marysville to be near family. Keith loved to sail, he relished sailing the boat he had for over 45 years, he enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplanes; he also enjoyed fishing and ham radio. Keith, and his first wife Joan, sponsored many families from Vietnam and Laos during the Vietnam War helping many families. He and Joan became godparents to two children, Trang Nguyen and (Tram) Tracii Schaeublin. Keith was thrilled to be a grandfather to Emersyn, he enjoyed being a part of her life, he loved his family. Besides his parents, Keith is preceded in death by his first wife, Joan (Williamson) who he married March 22, 1964, she died June 10, 2002; and his infant sister Sue Lehto. Keith will be forever missed by his wife Jane (Jakubisin) Scott Lehto, who he married July 5, 2003, his brother Bill Lehto of Kinsman, Step-daughters Jill (Chris) Chuha of Plain City, and June Scott of Florida; and a beloved granddaughter Emersyn Lyn Chuha. Friends may call 10-11AM Saturday, October 14th at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 490 N. High St. in Cortland where funeral service will begin at 11AM. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
