John M. Jenkins, Jr. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for John M. Jenkins, 64 who died at Friday evening at his residence with his wife and "girls" by his side.. John was born May 6, 1954, a son of the late John M. and Shirley (Stouffer) Jenkins, Sr. and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Poland High School in 1973 and worked as a laborer for General Extrusions for 30 years before retiring in 2010. John enjoyed fishing and was a handyman. He was always fixing things for his family and friends. He leaves his wife, the former Barbara Jones, whom he married April 3, 1975; four sisters, Vickie (George) Kephlser of Louisiana, Linda (Dan) Sylvestri of Florida, Patty (Gary) Blissard of Struthers and Nancy (Michael) Brady of California; his chosen brother, C.J. (Denna) Jennins of Youngstown and his beloved dogs. Friends may call on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home.
