Services will be held on Monday,February 11, at 10:00 a.m. at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Joseph Tooley of 5360 Kirk Road Austintown who passed away at his residence on Thursday. He was born on August 23, 1959 in Dover, Ohio, the son of Joseph Tooley of Finley, Ohio and Rae Jeanne (Fox) Mollica of Youngstown. He was in maintenance and a charter pilot at Salem Air Park of Salem, Ohio and a member of the Air Craft Owners and Pilot Association. He was an Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 29 Austintown and was on the properties committee at Camp Strambaugh. He was also a certified scuba diver and enjoyed boating, skiing (water and snow), woodworking and roller skating. He was a 1977 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, a member of the band and attended Youngstown State University. He is survived by his son Joseph A. Tooley at home, father Joseph Tooley and stepmother Mikki, mother Rae Mollica, two stepbrothers Dennis Mollica of Howland, Robert Mollica of Boardman, uncles Ben Fox and John Fox both of Austintown and an aunt Sue Buroker of Kenton,OH. He is preceded in death by his stepfather Anthony Mollica, grandparents Raymond W. Fox, and Joseph and Catherine Tooley. Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Memorial tributes may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
